The interviews are conducted remotely via Google Meet. This is how we carry out most of our meetings in our day-to-day at GameCoder Studios!
FIRST INTERVIEW
The first interview is conducted with the team leader at GameCoder Studios. In this meeting, we will cover:
■ Education and experience.
■ Technical knowledge and key tools.
■ Abilities (soft skills).
■ English proficiency level.
SECOND INTERVIEW
For some positions, a second interview is conducted, in which our client leads the interview. In this meeting, we will cover:
■ Previous work experience.
■ Your technical knowledge will be tested, presenting cases or situations.
■ The degree of adaptability to the project requirements will be assessed.
TECHNICAL TEST
Certain positions require a technical test as part of the recruitment process. All tests are to be completed in a home office setting, and you will be provided with all the information you need to complete them. Most tests have flexible completion dates, so don't worry about strict deadlines.
Note: Technical tests are only used for the recruitment process.
TIPS & TRICKS
Interview processes can be stressful, but relax, it will be a very pleasant and friendly conversation.
■ Don't have a webcam? Let's chat and find a solution!
■ We recommend using a combination of headphones and a microphone so we can hear you clearly. The fewer audio distractions, the better!
■ The dress code is casual, be yourself and dress as you like.
■ Find a place where you can be at ease for the interview.
■ Try to hide your screen background to avoid distractions.
■ Tell us about your thought process: we are interested in learning how you think.
■ Definitely pick a couple of questions to ask. Are there things you'd like to know about the team, work organization? We're always happy to answer.
